People like to enjoy their free time doing what they love to do. Some like to watch movies, some like to read books and some like to play games. There are many types of games from multiple genres that you can choose according to your liking. If you love playing role-playing games (RPGs), then you have heard about the famous games Red Dead Redemption 2.
In every role-playing game, gamers try to focus on the main story while trying to collect all the easter eggs along the way. Sometimes, it is important in a game to do something totally off the path just for the sake of getting achievement rewards.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, there is an extra quest as well that requires you to find the graves of the dead and fallen comrades. This extra quest can only be completed once the main story of the video game is tackled. To get the ‘Paying Respects’ achievement, players have to find the 9 graves including Arthur’s grave in RDR2.
Red Dead Redemption2 – RDR2
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Games. This game is the third part of the Red Dead series. Although Red Dead Redemption 2 came to a lot later, but this game is a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is presented through both first-person and third-person perspectives, which is a bit unique feature for a role-playing game. The players in this game may freely roam in its interactive open world.
Red Dead Redemption 2 or RDR2’s development lasted for over eight years, which began soon after Red Dead Redemption’s release in 2010. Later, this game became one of the most expensive video games ever made.
Paying Respect Achievement
After playing the whole game and completing the main story, the players will encounter a special quest that they can complete by achieving the Paying Respect trophy.
To achieve this trophy, players will have to locate the dead bodies and graves of all the fallen comrades in the main story. The bodies of the comrades are all in specific locations. After locating each body, players have to interact with the bodies to pay respects.
After paying respects to all 9 bodies of the fallen comrades, the players will achieve the Paying Respect trophy at the end of the game.
Arthur’s Grave RDR2
Arthur Morgan’s death was only implied given his health condition in the high honour rating ending and never explicitly shown. So, did he die in the end or not?
You most definitely didn’t exactly see Arthur’s death. His death was only implied because he was left to his fate peacefully by Dutch and Micah. But, to end the confusion we will tell you that Arthur did die and his grave can be found near Bacchus Station.
Where to Find Arthur’s Grave RDR2
Arthur’s grave location is fairly easy to find. The exact location of Arthur’s grave can be found to the Northeast of Bacchus Station and East of the grave of Eagle Flies. You will find the tombstone to Arthur’s grave next to the Mysterious Hill Home.
Although the grave is easy to find but the road that leads to the location is tricky. Try to be careful as the climb to the hill is steep. If you still face problems finding Arthur’s grave location then it is recommended to refer to the map for easy directions.
Changes In Arthur’s Grave RDR2
As you already know Red Dead Redemption 2 takes every action of the player into account and changes the consequences of the actions, Arthur’s grave varies depending on your actions and decisions.
If you had high honour ratings and chose that ending, Arthur’s grave would be lined with flowers celebrating and indicating his life full of good deeds. In this case, the tombstone reads, ‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.
If you have been playing with the low honour ending, Arthur’s grave would be relatively run-down and in this case, the tombstone reads, “Blessed are those that mourn for they will be comforted.”
These minor changes can even be seen in the animal near the tombstone. In the high honour ending, you find an eagle guarding the grave, whereas, in the low honour ending, you find a wolf near the grave.
